Last September, I submitted a post explaining that I had been in the hospital and anticipated rehabilitation in a facility in Tampa. The residential portion of the therapy program ends this week and I am finally going home!
Meanwhile, I have been keeping up with current events, at least to some extent. I note that, during my incapacity, little has changed. The GOP continues to be dominated by the Tea Party while more responsible main-stream Republicans are beginning to understand their predicament! The most likely GOP nominee is likely to be Mitt Romney, whom the Tea Party distrusts as being, God forbid, a centrist. Some of the Far Right would accept nearly anyone if it would oust the President; some would rather keep their purity and start a third party although that would making an Obama defeat less likely
