A friend is gone. He will be missed.
November 13th 2007 03:31
I received a very disturbing e-mail a few hours ago. Klaus Winter, known to me and many others, on this site and Associated Content, as Youranter, passed away last Sunday, November 11th.
I knew Klaus only through his posted opinions, which often took a position with which I disagreed. Our discussions were always polite, mutually respectful and I, for one, will miss him greatly.

Although Klaus and I had many opposing views, he was unfailingly courteous to me. He was the one who brought me here to Orble and gave me good advice about posting. I sent him a book a few months ago and have another on order that I was sending for Christmas.
Oh, man. I'm really going to miss him.

I image he'd have appreciated the timing.

I'm sad to say that he and I never got past our absolute dislike for eachother. Now I wish I'd made peace with the guy.

I agree with you Jim, he was always polite.
He and I never agreed on anything but we could discuss topics without getting nasty.
