A Grandson prepares for college.

I have sent the following e-mail to my oldest Grandson on the occasion of his upcoming start of college life.
One word of explanation, his other grandfather is politically the mirror image of me.
I hope that the result will be a politically rational young man, solidly ensconced in the Middle!
You know, of course, that Grandma and I are very, very proud of your accomplishments and your admission to college for this Fall. As your Grandfather, I have a responsibility that I take seriously, indeed. Besides being a source of sound political advice (always “fair and balanced”), I’ve assumed the duty to assist you in the transition to college life.

He, like his siblings and cousins, are (in my unbiased opinion as Grandfather) all above average in intelligence, looks and all-around character!
