An interesting read

Every now and then I find an article in both Left and Right leaning sources that deserve to be brought to everyone's attention. This is one of those articles, chock full of documentation that the media are giving Senator McCain a "pass", perhaps to keep the race close and interesting.
In any event, I suggest: Really Long Link

As a read, it wasn't particularly uplifting or edifying.

Political Certainty
But the article contains documentation -- which you can certainly ignore.
In any event, regardless of your conclusions and value judgments, thank you for having the curiosity to read the material.
I do not expect everyone to agree; that's why I invited Randy to join us, to give a counter to my positions. Unlike some sites, I welcome robust debate!

Personally, the lot of them should be scrapped and let's have a redo.
I'd much rather have Condi Rice as a candidate, she has much more hands on experience internationally than either of them.

Frankly, I am scared, really scared, of Mr. Obama as the leader of anything. Just too many questions about his background and upbringing. I would much rather see him spend a few more years "in training" so we could have a real track record to guage his abilities as leader. But, the Dems are apparently going to appoint him as their candidate and there is little or nothing I can do about that.
Unfortunately, I think Mr. McCain is past his time and his apparent mental indiscretions are proving it. The Republicans need to do better in their selection of a candidate.
Seems like we are being forced, for the third consecutive election, to choose between two poor candidates. I am going to take a real hard look at who the VP selections are and that willl weigh heavily on my decision on who to vote against.
Meantime, the Huffington Post will make as good a wrapper for dead fish as the St. Pete Times.
