Why Hillary supporters should vote for McCain
October 20th 2008 19:58
Hillary Clinton supporters should vote for McCain rather than Obama, if they are really for Mrs. Clinton. If Obama wins the election Hlilary will have to wait at least 8 years to have a chance at the presidency again. And even then it would be doubtful because Obama would probably try to get somebody else to replace him, should he serve two terms.
Even if Hlilary could run for and win the nomination against a sitting President, she would be defeated by whatever Republican candidate is running. Because if Obama does badly enough that he can’t even get the nomination, then no Democrat would win anyway.
Despite Obama’s claims, McCain isn’t nearly as conservative as George Bush. McCain and Obama both moved towards the center to run for President of the United States. But McCain was touted as the Liberal Republican by right wing radio until he won the nomination. McCain is liberal enough to move the American people more to the left in preparation for Hlilary to win the next election.
Having Palin in as Vice President would also help the American people get used to a woman in power. Thus easing Hillary’s transition to her own Presidency. Also if McCain wins, he probably won’t run for reelection due to his age. It would be easier for Hillary to defeat someone who wasn’t already voted in as President.
And with Obama’s ties to ACORN I am sure some of you are wondering if Obama even defeated Hillary Clinton in the primary. So in reality a vote for McCain is a vote for Hillary for the next election.

Political Certainty
But John McCain messed that scenario by picking Sarah Palin as running mate. In addition, recent statements by the Arizona Senator diminishing the role of a woman’s health make unlikely that the vast majority of women, supportive of reproduction rights could vote GOP.

Sen. Hillary Clinton issued the following statement in response to Sen. McCain’s remarks at the Republican convention:
"After listening to all of the speeches this week, I heard nothing that suggests the Republicans are ready to fix the economy for middle class families, provide quality affordable health care for all Americans, guarantee equal pay for equal work for women, restore our nation's leadership in a complex world or tackle the myriad of challenges our country faces.
"So, to slightly amend my comments from Denver: NO WAY, NO HOW, NO McCAIN-PALIN."
Hillary Clinton Unveils "Hillary Sent Me!" Grassroots Call to Action with Supporters
"As we continue to read the headlines about our troubled economy, the stakes of this election only get higher. Today I am asking all of you to hit the phones, hit the road and spread the word that we must elect Barack Obama President and we must send a filibuster-proof majority to Congress," said Senator Clinton.
"This is a call to action. We all have a role. And there is not a moment to lose," Clinton added. "Tell them that Hillary sent you."
