Republicans on participation in governing

July 22nd 2009 21:12

GOP: cut taxes on wealthy, give government operations to private industry and make people afraid – and everything will be perfect, again.

When my children were small, there were T-Shirts for sale in many stores with “My Name is No-No” across the chest. The point was, of course, that toddlers hear that expression so often that they might confuse it with their name. The modern GOP has become a party of “No-No”, refusing to enter into bi-partisan discussions with the Democrats, refusing to offer rational alternative policy proposals, condemning all administration proposals as evil, communist, and un-American. I have previously termed the GOP as the “Grand Obstructionist Party.

I can think of no better way to describe the GOP tactics and lack of participation in the process than to call upon the Marx Brothers. I have just come across this gem and feel obliged to share it.

I hope that you all enjoy!

Odd, and the GOP always thought that Dem's was short for the Dementia Party or was it the Demonic-rats Party.

In my nevar humble opinion, liberalism of the type associated with democrat's is a mental illness and I believe that their was a tome
published to that effect.

All schlocking aside, I am seriously alarmed by both party's. As a nevartarian, I predict serious trouble for Obama and the Dem's along with the Repub's beginning this November. I'm brushing up on my Russian, Thai and Canadian French in anticipation.

Oh, and it's always uncool to drag the mud over the three stooges . . .
